I had a dream once in which I left a plane in something just like that. No parachute, just this big inflatable ball. It worked too.

I wonder...

From their FAQ:

Q. How high a cliff can you jump off?

A. Forget it - jumping of cliffs in the Zorb is not a smart idea.

Just sounded like a challenge to me.... :P

The site says you can go up to 31 mph in it, which I would assume to mean that you could safely impact an immoveable object at that speed. So, what would it's terminal velocity be with a 190-pound naked white guy inside (thinking about leaving any sharp objects safely on the ground). It's already nearly 200 pounds by itself, but it's about 11-12 ft in diameter and can be filled with helium (although they say the results are negligable, but every little bit helps). ;)

Hmmmmm...

Lolie!!! I knew you rocked for a reason!

I was telling jtval about this ages and ages ago... Bouncy-Ball Thingy
I've been trying to find information about this "bouncy-ball thing" for ages now. So thank you!!!!!!!
I heard that it's pretty expensive to buy a "Zorb" of your own.
I saw one getting used in rapids! (On the T.V. show:() That's when I thought..."Me. One. Now!"B|

Very Cool indeed!

it should be fun aslong as you love tumbeling, the problem is that it will first stop at the end of the hill..;)

i wouldnt use it to anything else than rolling down hill whith.some os the your not secured inside so you could hurt your self by hitting your self(by accident)

Here's another site with some pictures and a pricelist (click on 'Cenik' - prices are for individuals, pairs, families (!), 10 ticket packages and whole-day packages). Just in case someone wants to try it, but doesn't want to travel all the way to New Zealand. (Slovenia is much closer, really!)
