SpeedRacer 1 #2 March 29, 2003 tell us where he lives. There's gotta be some group of us here who can go to his house and "persuade" him. Speed Racer --------------------------------------------------
pilotdave 0 #3 March 29, 2003 definitely bullshit. When you bid, you enter an amount. you dont with buy it now. big difference. make him pay. Dave
aneblett 0 #4 March 29, 2003 I don't know if they wil do too much.. but definitely complain to eBay about him. You can get your listing fees back forsure if you file a Non Paying bidder alert on him. I know they will suspend his account (for how long I don't know) and if this isn't his first offense it can be a permanent suspension. Lately they have been taking fraud pretty seriously. Charging people with the bigger ones. This guy is defitely an A@@hole. is says clearly when you click on buy it now what it does. and I am pretty sure that it takes 2 clicks to actually "buy it now" go get him. ageS.E.X. party #2 ..It is far worse to live with fear, than to die confronting it. Jimbo 0 #5 March 29, 2003 That is bullshit. Buy or bid, he entered a price he was prepared to pay and now he's stuck with it. Get Ebay involved, they probably won't be able to get your money but I'm sure they can prevent him from screwing anyone else. - Jim"Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed. flyingferret 0 #6 March 29, 2003 Unfortunately Ebay is getting a bunch of bogus bidders like that. If they do not fix it, I think it will eventually kill their business model. People are totally manipulating small submarkets of supply and demand. Pretty interesting from a microeconomics standpoint, but sucks if it is your item. Check feedback, check bidders regularly, and blow away any bids from people with zero or negative feedback.-- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI. GeorgeOrwell 0 #7 March 29, 2003 been there and had that done to me E-bay is quick to take the fee's but real slow helping us out with a problem I found the best thing to do is see if the guy will pay the buy out if not give him a negative feedback and the rest of us sellers will beware-------------------------------------------------- If your not jumping your not living LEARN TO LIVE (L2L)
