peppermint 0 #1 March 27, 2003 I went to the local animal shelter today with adopting a cat in mind. There were only two cats there (about 6 months old). I fell in love with one, but it has a cage mate it is very attached to (and they are also litter mates). Should I adopt both or leave one behind? Would that be cruel separating them? Don't balk, I'm tenderhearted! The flowing wave returns not, nor does the passing hour.

mnischalke 0 #8 March 27, 2003 6 months? damn, too old for Bonzi... Actually, if you really like cats, get them both. It would probably be more cruel leaving one to the unmerciful needle. mike Girls only want boyfriends who have great skills--You know, like nunchuk skills, bow-hunting skills, computer-hacking skills. I won't ask. Seems like the getting them both option is the key. The flowing wave returns not, nor does the passing hour.
mnischalke 0 #10 March 27, 2003 Yeah, don't ask. And whatever you do, do not type the words bonsai and kitten together with a .com on one end and a www. on the other! Just do not do it! wmw999 2,534 #16 March 27, 2003 You'll just end up calling them "kitty" most of the time anyway. So just name them both Kitty; maybe qualify it with "grey kitty" and "white kitty" or whatever. mnischalke 0 #18 March 27, 2003 True that. Naming a cat is much like naming your TV. Its not gonna matter what you call it, it aint gonna listen. mike Girls only want boyfriends who have great skills--You know, like nunchuk skills, bow-hunting skills, computer-hacking skills. wmw999 2,534 #20 March 27, 2003 Quote they are both gray and both female. Well then you won't be able to tell them apart anyway, right? You could try "good kitty" and "bad kitty," or just use the universal cat attractor, the electric can opener. Or you could name them after particularly memorable dz.com denizens -- like wingnut and sunshine...
