MrHixxx 0 #26 March 27, 2003 I too am a DVD snob or more aptly a widescreen snob. I insist on watching movies in the original 6:9 ratio, which is usually only available on DVD... You take a movie like American Beauty that has incredible cinematography and art direction and it is slaughtered when it is formatted for regular TV. It simply demands the widescreen format. -Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

kingbunky 3 #28 March 27, 2003 total dvd snob now. the vcr is used as an interface between the kids game consoles and the old tv in the basement. i just tried out a new dvd catalog program last night, (dvd profiler if you're interested) and found that i own 57 dvd's, although one of those is the die hard trilogy, so there's actually 59!"Hang on a sec, the young'uns are throwin' beer cans at a golf cart." jumpy 0 #30 March 27, 2003 Damn straight! We got a dvd player upstairs and downstairs. Only use the vcr to hook the dvd player up to the old old tv.
