I hope you will never experience what is happening to people out there. Push 0 #29 March 21, 2003 Please guys, no matter what our views are, lets not start an argument now. The possibility of half of downtown Baghdad erased makes me sick to my stomach. Yup, and add to that a mix of a bunch of pain pills I've had the TV on CNN pretty much constantly, caught the beginning and just about crapped my pants. It's so much more intense than I was expecting. I'm wondering what effect the intense media coverage is going to have on the creation/prevention of future wars. -- Hook high, flare on time

jraf 0 #35 March 21, 2003 The media coverage will first show the bombing and then it will show the dead civilians. After that we will be the world's new Huns. Craig 0 #36 March 21, 2003 Just for the record military targets are only being targeted. The bombings are by precision guided missles and bombs, not just carpet bombing the city with whatever we can find to drop out of a plane or launch from sea or land like some think. jraf 0 #39 March 21, 2003 Yes, oh military genious, look at the first page of CNN.com and notice the row of explosions coming in equal distances one by one down a section of the city. Are you telling me these were smart bombs. Our command decided to destroy every 4th building on that street? Do you still want to save the children? Then go and work the cleanup, and see for yourself. War without victims - how gullible can you be? jraf Me Jungleman! Me have large Babalui. I didn't see houses and hospitals. QuoteAre you telling me these were smart bombs. Our command decided to destroy every 4th building on that street? Are you sure you are not watching Iraqi TV? For some reason if I were to watch the war listening to classical music I would feel like anthony hopkins.. not real sure why, was it silence of the lambs maybe? I'll be happy to lock threads, edit posts and ultimately ban people who can't seem to abide by the rules. Specifically the first one. It's really simple. Don't attack people. You've all been given LOTS of slack recently because of the emotions involved in this issue, but the attacks on the people instead of the issues are getting very, very old. A hint - if your comment is aimed at one person, there's a good chance it's going to be considered an attack. Take it to PM's.. or better yet, don't type it at all.
