I thought about hang gliding when I was in my mid-20's (already an active skydiver), and decided it was too dangerous. Just at the one little mountain in NH I looked at, there were a couple of fairly recent memorials to experienced folks. In those days, experienced jumpers didn't die skydiving nearly as often as inexperienced ones. I kind of thought of that as a reward for getting experienced... jumperconway 0 #127 March 6, 2003 Hello Brian, Don't give up the dream! Lest ye be warned not to go back though broke, for ye shall live in the regret of pity, missing airtime when there is no money to feed thy newfound habit of freedom! Be pacient my young friend, the skies yearn for your presence lest they shall wait you're time! Blue ones, Conway
SuicideBlonde 0 #128 March 6, 2003 Any age is the perfect age to skydive. I started at 50 (just a few months ago). I finally found a guy I trust enough to jump with...my tandem instructor! You might say I fell for him.You know I'm afraid of heights!

wmw999 2,485 #132 March 6, 2003 Who was the idiot -- your dad for not letting you jump, or you for not doing your homework? Also, has Mr. Kitty come back? I sure hope so.
