blewaway5 0 #53 February 27, 2003 oops, my fingers are too damned big some times. Of course, it would be pretty cool to see a 16' gun. Didn't Germany have some sort of absurdly large piece of artillery back in WWII? Truman Sparks for President
flyingferret 0 #54 February 27, 2003 Something like this? http://www.astronautix.com/lvs/v3.htm They had a lot of projects similar. Really interesting program about them on the Hilter channel. TB99 0 #60 February 27, 2003 Hey, you never know ... maybe the info got "censored" to protect the infamous image of the B-2 being "invincable" or something. I dunno ... Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!

Jussi 0 #66 February 27, 2003 i´m saying that b2 wasn´t shot down, this Venik dude was spreading "interesting" comment´s that he could not proof at all... "No, but I play one on TV" ?????

flyingferret 0 #71 March 5, 2003 Hey, I found this page this morning while looking for something else. TB99 0 #73 March 5, 2003 Nice read there! The Mig-29s are definately a very very agile airframe!! Those things will fly circles around ours, except for the up and coming F-22. The thing about it is, however, the avionics of our F-15s is truely unbelievable!!! (The F-22s are getting better ones if you can believe that!) The only way a Mig-29 would stand a chance against an Eagle (F-15) is in a close air combat ... long range, Eagles win hands down (as you saw by the stats). They managed to only down F-16s, which are agile crafts, but not quite as much as the Fulcrum (Mig-29). Also, the F-16s are not built for air superiority (like the Eagles) and do not have the avionics ... Those Vipers (F-16s) probably were on "wild weasal" missions (the F-16CG for instance) ... which is a very tough mission sent to destroy the SAMs and clear the paths for other aircrafts. This is just IMHO, however. Thanks for the read I definately love those Migs! If we had em with our avionics technology, it'd be so cool ... but alas, we have our Raptor (F-22) coming!! Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!
