happythoughts 0 #119 February 24, 2003 Here is a pic of a MC that we pulled off at the 2001 WFFC. magic carpet You'd have to count them yourself. I'm in the front with the black/orange Javelin, Rabbitt is doing his usual wonderful job controlling the tail. I've done 16, but it isn't much fun because the tail tends to fold over onto the back and the whole thing funnels early. If you take at 3 rows of 4, with 2 stingers riding the back, you can get good control if the 2 on the back are pretty good. The best is probably 9 or 12 done in rows of 3. It rolls over nicely onto its back and you get to watch the plane for a sec before it goes head-down. Also, the pilots appreciate it if the groups are 12 or smaller. Saftety note. Anyone with legstrap throwouts should be on the right outside so that their pilot chute does not get jostled loose. We figured that out the hard way.
