meatmissile 0 #1 February 26, 2003 I do not know why, but I have suddenly become enamoured of the music of ABBA again. It must be my 70's childhood, the "becoming aware" of girls and all those other pleasant memories that are doing it. I remember the first girl I ever kissed, at one of my Dad's office parties. "Super Trouper" was playing somewhere in the background. The memories... So, anyone else here like ABBA? Don't be shy to admit it . You're not alone! -- ZZZzzzz.... wmw999 2,545 #8 February 26, 2003 I can't think of ABBA without remembering "Your'e the one that I want." They had their own sound, and it reminds me of driving along. billvon 3,076 #16 February 26, 2003 I completely forgot about abba for about 30 years. A few years back I was in the airport in Belfast and I saw an abba CD and bought it on a whim. It brought back a lot of memories; my sisters had most of their albums when I was young (13 or so.)

misskriss 0 #21 February 26, 2003 There is actually a group out called the A-teens that my daughters were listening to about a year ago..they sing a lot of Abba's songs. My children were astonished to know that someone else sang Dancing Queen first..
mouth 0 #22 February 26, 2003 Got to be Dancing Queen. I drove many a mile on the strip listening to that song over and over and over. Wish I had something to play my vinyl stuff on now. Life really was simpler then. Oh, and I loved M*A*S*H. Sad thing is one of my kids just was in here singing so I listened to the worlds. "Got an S on my chest, now I wear a bullet proof vest" then something about a sub-machine gun. Yes, life has changed. -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit. If you've never seen it and you like ABBA....go rent it now! That movie had one of my favorite quotes in it. The girls were discussing what a good time that they had at a bachelorette party and how it was so exciting and different. One of them said "This is how I live my life every weekend". That always stuck with me.
