Also a 1923 (i think) Stearman Bi-plane. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

sundevil777 102 #14 February 23, 2003 A DC-3 from 1936. I think a lot of jumpers don't realize how old many C-182's are.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am

happythoughts 0 #24 February 24, 2003 I've jumped Mister Douglas more than a few times. There is nothing like 10-way speed out of a DC3. Last month, I jumped this B-17 with my Muff buddies Johnny Gates and Darrell Huttenstein.
wmw999 2,447 #25 February 24, 2003 Not sure; I've jumped a number of DC-3's, a B-17, and some Twin Beech's. I've jumped a Steerman, too, but I think it was from the late 40's. My brother is in the final stages of rebuilding a 1947 Cessna 140; I can't wait Wendy W. There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. (tbrown)
