AggieDave 6 #1 February 21, 2003 I just got back, so I'm going to give you the short version. Some pics were taken, but I've got to get the film done first. Well, drank some beer, caught up with another guy with a 4x4 and went down to the Brazos for some fun. It was fun, got muddy as hell, tore ass all over the place and on the way back, going towards the hill to the road, my truck sank. BAD. The truck sank to the body, 3 tires were completely covered. Lets just say I was stuck. Well, 4 hours, 3 trucks, 3 broken recovery straps and 5 chains and one winch later, I'm home. Although I did manage to pop the bead off of one of my tires, so I got to put the "donut" tire on (a 245R75). So I'm going to go take some good pics tomorrow in the daylight before I go spray my truck off and get my tire remounted. This was a very fun, very funny adventure! AggieDave 6 #2 February 21, 2003 Well, just spent 20 minutes at a high pressure coin wash trying to get the big chunks of mud off my truck...I love this shit!--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

The car wash where I grew up had a big sign that said "No Mud" Guess they got tired of it. And I thought the rule was, you only wash the wheels - everything has to stay covered for a few days. Maybe ya'll do things diffr'nt in Texas.it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality
AggieDave 6 #4 February 21, 2003 I couldn't see out of most of my windows, so I had to do something... Don't worry, its still really damned dirty, 20 minutes at the wash wouldn't be enough to do any damage to all the mud I brought back with me!--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." VectorBoy 0 #6 February 22, 2003 Hey Dave does your truck have a diff or lockers? 4x by or 2x by ? Just curious. Glen
AggieDave 6 #7 February 22, 2003 4x4, 1998 Chevy 1500 (1/2 ton) Z-71, with semi-lockers. I really could have used a fully locking diff last night, but $$...--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
