Michele 1 #26 February 14, 2003 Chuck, Mr. Kitty's total certainty that you would take care of him, and that he would find comfort with you, is NOT misplaced. Animals know, and are an incredible indicator of the human spirit. You are well and truly loved by him, and you deserve it, as he is well and truly loved by you. Hugs to you, and lots of vibes to Mr. Kitty. Health and happiness to him, rapid and full recovery as well. And for you? The same. Let me know what I can do - anything, Chuck. I understand. wmw999 2,534 #36 February 14, 2003 Chuck, I sure hope things turn out OK for Kitty; she sounds like a real keeper, and she sounds like she's found a real keeper of an owner, too. gemini 0 #37 February 14, 2003 Hope everything works out. I had a 12 yr old that I found in a parking lot as a kitten get mauled by a dog. It took 3 months to get her back to normal and then she had a great 6 months. Then one day she was moving a little slow and not eating much. I went to work and never saw her again. I was grateful to the vet for the extra months. Don't give up on her. It will be worth it. Blue skies, Jim
katiebear21 0 #38 February 14, 2003 Thanks for all your responses... you guys don't understand how good Chuck is with his (and my) animals! It is almost unnatural how animals respond to them. My cat has completely come out of her shell since he started spending some time at my house. She always used to be right near me but now she's GOT to be right on us (usually sitting on Chuck's tummy making bread and bumping my hand with her head to get more attention). It's either that or she's got her ass in my face. (Chuck's got a name for that but I can't remember now). I love you, baby... keep your chin up and remember God works in mysterious ways. Shark 0 #40 February 14, 2003 Chuck, Mr. Kitty is amazing. You know, he was thinking about you after his incident. All he could think of was getting back to you. That was his mission. Mr. Kitty must be a SkyMonkey or an SF cat to go through that. PM me your address so I can send a little donation.Mark

SkymonkeyONE 4 #46 February 14, 2003 I got a call from the doc this morning. Kitty is doing OK. He has been eating and drinking and recovering, still with a catheter inserted and an IV. They are going to operate on his leg this afternoon or tomorrow. The doc seems confident that he is going to recover. Chuck

bobsled92 0 #50 February 14, 2003 Today Emergency Vets are awsome. I am relieved to hear that he's doing well. I can appreciate your situation(I spent more out of pocket on my cats & Dogs that of myself) They put back together an animal with such small structure than us, from some trauma they we might not have survived. (as for the "car/accident" I don't a person would willing have harmed AND left him) Best wishes, -Grant Gallagher & Family _______________________________ If I could be a Super Hero, I chose to be: "GRANT-A-CLAUS". and work 365 days a Year. http://www.hangout.no/speednews/
