lippy 918 #6 February 17, 2003 Okay, I saw the ad for Daily Planet, saw the 300-way in FF as they described 300 people jumping from planes. After Chris's reply I checked Discovery's website and I can't find it. But I - did - see the ad.I got nuthin
Rebecca 0 #7 February 17, 2003 Grr. I couldn't find anything either. I looked on TLC also, and though they have skydivers plastered ALL OVER their website, a search for 'skydive' or 'skydiving' turns up nothin'. Even the "Adrenaline Junkies" section has nothing about skydiving in it (that I could tell). That just seems very wrong. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
quatorze 1 #8 February 17, 2003 Just used the awesome power of my digi cable and scrolled up until 0200 tommorrow and nothing cool on except Monster Garage, and Extreme Hawaii on Disc, TLC, or Disc-Wings channels... are you sure it was for today? I mean hey, R. Lee Ermy is on the history channel @ eight with mail call. Who really wants to compete with that? skygod7777 0 #9 February 17, 2003 lippy lied to us!! he just wanted to get everyones hopes up. but not now we know, it wasn't true i'm going to feel dumb when someone finds it on. later
riddler 0 #10 February 17, 2003 I keep thinking about ways that I can put 300 skydivers in perspective. Here's one. If Discovery gave just a 60 second interview with each skydiver, the program would be five hours long. That's a lot of people in the air at once.Trapped on the surface of a sphere. CanuckInUSA 0 #11 February 17, 2003 Quote If Discovery gave just a 60 second interview with each skydiver, the program would be five hours long. Now you wouldn't want to interview all 300, 299 of them would be fine. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

mouth 0 #23 February 18, 2003 Knowing Scott Franklin like I do his interview would take an hour at least. The interview with each one does put 300 people into perspective. Mind if I borrow this exercise for my problem of the day for tomorrow? My kids love it when I talk about jumping and show pics. -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit.
