PhillyKev 0 #2 February 14, 2003 Personally, I like to use travelocity to find tickets, like their interface best. Then I'll usually check and see if there are cheaper tickets directly on the airlines website (often is).
dove 0 #3 February 14, 2003 I have found that Orbitz.com has the best deals. It even gives you fares for Air Tran - super cheap! :) Fall in dove.
DTOXX 0 #4 February 14, 2003 If your a college student the www.StudentUniverse.com is the best there is. You can only purchase tickets for yourself however but the prices are well below others I have found. I saved about $150 below Travelocity, and Orbitz last September flying LA to London. ------- D.T. Opie 0 #5 February 14, 2003 I use them all to check prices but have always bought through expedia.com and never had a problem.
flyangel2 2 #6 February 14, 2003 I do lots of traveling and get my tickets off travelocity. I do a little bit of searching on the different sites, but most times I just give up. It gets too confusing and I have better things to do with my time rather than search and search for the cheapest airfare. I just got tickets today to head to Z-hills.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. arlo 0 #7 February 14, 2003 www.sidestep.com. it actually takes you to the airline specific website, but the search engine is outstanding and easy to use. Always compare whichever you're using to expedia or travelocity. Most of the time the prices are close, but on 1 or 2 occasions, one has been significantly less than the other. Too, I've found that 3rd party bookings on Delta using expedia result in loss of e-ticket option...paper ticket only. This has occured at least 2 or 3 times when i've booked for someone else. if you want someone to 'double check' some prices for ya, shoot me an email and i'll see what i can find based on the destinations and days. also, if your dates are even the slightest bit flexible, try changing the dates of flight to tues or sat. some days are cheaper than others. :) hope that helps, arlo
