THANKS FOR THE WARM WELCOM

Recommended Posts

Hello Again,

Thanks for the warm welcome. Of the many things I love about skydiving, I love none more than the people in this sport. We are from all walks of life, from all countries of the world, all backgrounds, and all ages. But in another way we are ONE OF A KIND.

Looking forward to talking with you more.

Dan

Right on Dan! I think you'll find all types on this site. We've got guys like me who are really just starting their skydiving career, people who are still on student status and folks like you and Bill Booth, all types. And we all have fun, talk and have a BLAST when we finally meet each other in person (as with the Eloy Holiday boogie, you may have noticed the little blurb in Parachutist last month).

Hey Dan, don't let them fool you...it's hero worship, nothing more! ;) Just kidding.

Good to have you here! This is a great place and just like a virtual DZ.

Uh oh, just thought of something...now you have yet another way to bug me about coming to skills camps! Argh!

Never meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup!

Dan~
Like everyone else, I hope you'll hang around and post a lot more on the forums. I'm going to move your post out of the Introductions forum to the more appropriate forum, Talkback. More people will see it there anyway. :)

because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

It is we who are honored:)

I'm not worthy! :P

Please, someone tell Dan for me that I will spend more time in the topical forums, drawing keen knowledge from a master... ;)
So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh
Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright
'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life
Make light!

Welcome. Please, sit down. Is there anything any of us can do to make you feel more at home?

Skydiving is easy. All you have to do is relax while plummetting at 120 mph from 10,000' with nothing but some nylon and webbing to save you.
