The season starts this weekend. I owe something like 8 cases of beer, so I figured, since it's probably too cold/windy/snowy for jumping might as well drinkB|

I like the way you think. I was debating if I was going to show up this weekend or not, but you make a strong case for the yes column.

P.S. I will also owe a case when I jump as it will be my first one at that dz...

You're coming up to STI? That's cool. Make sure you meet Paul Rademacher and the rest of the Gravity Pirate crew;)

Hrm, what kind of beer would you folks prefer? There will be no carbonated piss in cans, that's for sure.

Yeah, I'll be in the area for the whole season, so I'm sure I will meet (get coaching) form some of the FFers there. I don't know if I will jump there regularly or not yet though, it depends on their need for instructors. I already talked to another dz that said they were in need, but I haven't been able to contact anyone from STI as of yet. I would rather jump at STI because I'll be living about 10 minutes from there, as opposed to an hour from the other one, but I have to get my contacts in this season. Now, on to the important stuff. I personally usually buy Moosehead, but that's just a personal preference.

Instructors are in fairly short supply at STI. It has happened that I've waited for my load to go up for hours cause there was no instructor.

Hey, you wanna throw me out of a plane sometime? ;)

Moosehead sounds good. Since I'm buying a couple of cases anyway, I'll see if anyone else wants something different.

Good to hear. Hopefully I can talk to someone there soon. If I'm there, you've got an instructor. I plan on making myself as available as possible to the dz...especially if it's only 10 minutes away. I'm used to an hour drive one way, so I'm looking very forward, to a quick drive. That, and after a bad day at work, head to the dz to blow off some steam...OK, I gotta stop, I'm starting to drool.

Hey Guys, better bring snow shovels when you come to STI this weekend...LOL (got my truck stuck on Sunday when I was dropping off some firewood) but i'm sure they will have the parking lot plowed for the opening day.
Don't forget there is a potluck on Saturday, so even if we get weathered out we should have a good time ;););)
