DoubleShot 0 #4 January 31, 2003 Until I figure something else out, here's the short version of how this name came up. I was to jump off a 500 foot Antenna like structure with 2 others. For reasons that are no longer important, I became angry and impatient. As they sat below I geared up and went to the top. The conditions were good so I decided to jump. Now to back up a little, My usual routine was to gear check my self and make sure the pilot chute is easily reachable, practice the launch and then repeat this until I was good and ready. What I did: I was geared up so I just tightened the leg an chest straps, reached back and sure enough, the Pilot chute was there. I climbed to the edge and jumped. 3 seconds later I reached back and quickly snatched the pilot chute and I threw nothing but air. My hand slipped off! Now it had become serious, I reached back again GRABBED it and Threw it as hard as I could. Every thing worked out. That was a turning point in many parts of my life, and especially the way I approcah BASE. After talking about this to a friend. He later tossed me a doubleshot and said, "this is what I'm calling you from now on. I'm glad you get a second chance" :) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

My name is Kevin.. a long long time ago I needed a userid kevin was already taken.. this was back when I registered my first domain name, networksolutions assigned a handle of "ko922" .. the 922 was a randomly generated number I believe.. anyway so that I wouldn't forget my network solutions handle I just tacked on the 922 to kevin so that I have "kevin922" it has nothing to do with my birthday (which is in may) or anything else. I have a brain airbrushed on top of my full face helmet so that it looks as if my helmet has come open and you can see the brain inside. May sound stupid, but, everytime i put it on and i see the brain, it reminds me to use it and think about what i am doing. Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you. Mayhem 0 #14 January 31, 2003 Well, I have a tendency to get drunk...real drunk. (Hey I'm a skydiver, when that beer light goes on my brain shuts-off and all I think is mmmmmmmmm...beer.) So anywho after a # of beers I tend to break things, namely myself, and cause problems for others ([i.e] security guards, bar bouncers) all and all I don't think it's that bad but my friends think it's funny and that I am just mayhem.
