Goin' to Colorado

Recommended Posts

Goin skiin' for a week at Breckenridge(sp?) Colorado, I was wonderin' if my factory diver would be a good helmet to keep my face warm. Seems like a good idea to me...

But I think I'ma take my rig and ski off the side of the mountain and pull my string. Chuck(SkyMonkey ONE) always encourages me to do at least 2 tricks a day. B|

I can't find the video, but canopies have been launched at A-Basin. Not sure there's any cliffs high enough out here for you to try that stunt. If you find one though, let me know so I can get video... :P

I've thought about it myself, but having had my ski goggles fog up several times, I think the face shield would fog really fast. Plus I haven't noticed it really being cold up there yet. Only time I get cold is on the lifts and a scarf takes care of that.

I just got back from boarding at Keystone today. Very warm. Only had a few items of clothing on. I wear a ski/board helmet and when I went in for lunch, my hair was wet. The factory diver lens will fog, don't try it. Just rent a helmet at a ski shop. When are you going? What ever you do, stay away from the slopes on a weekend day, that is unless you like to stand in lines.

Got the cast off 2 weeks ago, but I'm still wearing a splint. I can fit a glove over my splint so Monday we are going to go up to Copper to test it out.

Are you sure you want Derek in Utah after you posted that picture. :P

WFFC also known as "gravitational"..... Michael, would you like to explain "vendetta" to everyone?
Seeing as you decided to make that public posting on the DZ review of Denver Skydivers in the "Dropzones" page?

Okay, what did I miss? [:/] I though this was a thread about skiing in Colorado.

MattM, glad you had a good time at Keystone. The best part about that place is the end of the day. I like to walk through the village and sit outside with a beer before heading home. What with all the snow we just got, you should have had a few powder days.
