flyangel2 2 #27 January 29, 2003 Quote Quote It almost seems that the dogs know they have been rescued and love you more for it. Yes! I couldn't agree more! Plus, if you are the type to do things for selfish reasons, many of them are potty-trained and fixed. Quote How right you are. I don't know if I would ever want to go through that "puppy" stage again. But, whatever you do, freebird...NEVER BUY FROM A PET STORE!*** Right again. Most dogs at pet stores come from puppy mills that breed the dogs just for the money. The living conditions there are awful. Quote Oh don't wait, My Muffin Doodle's on his last few months...and he's not always sociable to new dogs...it takes him awhile to be "friends" with them. The first dog I got was a doby mix and I had him about four years when he was diagnosed with cancer. He's already had two surgeries and I've promised him no more. He wasn't doing well till I brought in the golden mix. Now it's like he's a youngster all over again.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds. - Edward Abbey
Jessica 0 #28 January 29, 2003 Quote Anyone here into birds? Me! I love birds. Rawk! I have two parrots. Quote But, what I think I'll end up doing is getting a Boxer from a rescue. skycat 0 #30 January 29, 2003 I want a puppy too, but Derek said I have to get rid of one of my current pets 1st. Soooooo.......... Anyone want a hooknswoop or a red persian? Both are house broken and like laps. I'm keeping the dog, she is the only one out of the bunch that likes wearing a leash and collar and will do what I tell her too. Fly it like you stole it! skybytch 273 #32 January 29, 2003 QuoteAnyone want a hooknswoop or a red persian? Both are house broken and like laps. My dogs won't put up with a cat in the house, but I am interested in the hooknswoop. Does he know how to kill spiders, bugs and other creepy crawly things? If beaten often and severely enough will he take the garbage out once a week? If so, lemme know your asking price.

You may have to get a Bill V toy for the beatings....he is a fiesty one. How's $5 buck.....I need a beer.Fly it like you stole it!

Sebazz1 2 #37 January 29, 2003 I heard the hooknswoop pet can pack a reserve. If I were you I would keep the hooknswoop and get rid of the other ones...
