bbarnhouse 0 #1 October 12, 2002 Shimmering color arched against grey sky, Painted by dancing light on air-borne mist. Wide flung by a sacred hand... The Hand that formed of dust nothingness The solid Earth below. Beauty and promise together blended, Beauty ethereal, promise divine. Given to grace the clouds and the rain, Given to bless the world-weary heart... Shimmers... fades... brightens... To vanish in brilliance... Shines through the dark in my soul. bbarnhouse 0 #21 October 12, 2002 Quote Spent the day playing on a new cliff near Apache Junction . I left in the wee hours and headed out for ummmm a 250ft obstacle weeeeeeeeeee. Came back for team training and finished in time for a 2:00 meeting. This eve brings a fond farewell to some fellow jumpers that are leaving on a voyage. They are rowing across the Atlantic Ocean, begininng at the Canary Isles and finishing in Barbados. I shall miss them dearly, but know that when they return they will have many an adventure to share.... Cheers!! B^

RainbowWriter 0 #24 January 22, 2003 I see Dropzone has a new feature... a place to report stolen gear, to try and stop that obnoxious practice. I wonder if they might consider adding a place to report stolen words and thoughts? Quite an interesting poem you posted... particularly since, except for the name, it is word for word the poem that I wrote and entitled "Rainbow" in October of 1997. You even used the alternate spelling of "grey" which I picked up from English friends. I would have thought that you cut and pasted this, except that you dropped out an "and" in one line. It's rather sad, because I would not have minded you posting the poem... a number of folks have asked to do so, and I have never refused such a request, considering it a compliment. If you'd had the common courtesy to ask, had given the author credit, and had not changed the name, I would also have considered your request a compliment... instead of the worst kind of insult, that of treating me with disrespect. May you personally never be treated with such lack of courtesy. It's an experience that no one really deserves to have. All who are interested, can see the original at my personal website (or view the attachment, assuming I do that procedure correctly).
