PhillyKev 0 #1 January 22, 2003 Going to Perris next month. Where's the best place to stay? I thought about staying at the DZ, but I'm going to be there for 5 days than going to Vegas for 4 so I'd rather have my own place and be comfortable. They list a bunch of hotels on their website, anyone have recommendations one way or the other?
Sebazz1 2 #2 January 22, 2003 You can stay in The Bytch's closet with meActually there is a Days Inn within a 2 minute drive of Perris and they offer a skydiver discount too...
Sebazz1 2 #3 January 22, 2003 Hotels Nearby The bunk houses are pretty nice and cheap, and some folks do tent it as well... I don't even really know why i am responding to this thread. There are others that know way way more.

Deuce 1 #6 January 22, 2003 Go to Eloy for the '04 Holiday Boogie! I've stayed in the bunkhouse and at the Super 8 at Perris. You just can't beat the bunkhouse for the money. There's two sets of bunks in each room, I had the whole thing to myself. Clean bedding, like $5 or $10 bucks. Clean bathroom at the end of the hall with showers. The Super 8 is clean and inexpensive too, and is a very short drive from the field.

dunesurfer 0 #9 January 22, 2003 The days inn isnt too bad as sebazz mentioned. I've stayed there twice and it is as close as you can get to the dz without actually staying on the grounds.

FallnAngel 0 #11 January 23, 2003 We stayed at the Travelodge in Sun City...it's about 10 minutes down I215, it's clean, but definitely "no frills". It's about $50/night. Next time we go down to Perris, we're going to try the IHOP right there on the DZ... Blue ones, Karen
AirMail 0 #12 January 23, 2003 I was just at the JOTP Boogie and stayed at the IHOP. Was in the room with a bunch of bunk beds which were never all occupied. Other rooms have from 2 to 4 or 5 beds. Clean linens and towels. Hot tub. Not bad for $8 per night. Patrick-- It's never too late to have a happy childhood. They list a bunch of hotels on their website, anyone have recommendations one way or the other? I always stay at the Days Inn. It's about a 1-2 miles away from the DZ and has a pool and jacuzzi. They offer a skydiver discount but it's still $50-60 a night. If $$$ is your primary concern then the IHOP would be your best bet. As mentioned previously, you can't beat it for the money.
