bobsled92 0 #29 January 1, 2003 Quote Hey, I don't see Jackie Stewart on your list! heh Outstanding driver, doing what he did with cars of his era. Jackie Stewart used to make my laugh my ass off whan they made HIM the commentator on Wide World of Sports for BOBSLEDDING!(Dad used to flip out) John Morgan is now the man and has 3 generations of Bobsled in his family, a friend of the family since the days of my Dad being on the team, and one of the Morgan brothers lost his life on the Igles/Innsbruck track. BikerBabe 0 #31 January 22, 2003 How did I miss this? Um...Valentino Rossi...but he "drives" the 2-wheel-type! GP bikes rule. OK, I put Shumacher.Never meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup!
SkydiveMonkey 0 #32 January 22, 2003 Quote Schumacher, without a doubt Schumacher is a cheating little SOB if you ask me. One of the reasons I now can't stand F1. (mainly cos next to World Superbikes it sucks ass ). F1 isn't true racing anyway, it's just a competition to see how quickly your pit crew can refuel and change your tyres.____________________ Say no to subliminal messages
Scoby 0 #33 January 22, 2003 QuoteUm...Valentino Rossi...but he "drives" the 2-wheel-type! GP bikes rule. Rossi is glorious, but we'll see how he does next year when the rest of Honda is on the V5. My guess is that he'll still win, but won't dominate as much. I don't know if he is better than Mick Doohan was in his day. It was hard for me to decide, but I picked Shumacher over Senna. Ayrton was brilliant, but Michael is superhuman.
kingbunky 3 #34 January 22, 2003 i think i saw something this weekend about f1 rule changes. no more car-pit telemetry during a race, no car-pit radio during a race (not sure about that one from a safety point of view), no acceleration computers, no traction control computers and they have to use the same engine for several races. it's supposed to be a cost-controlling measure. i think it's going to show who can actually drive and end the boring parades that usually occur in their races. michael schumacher was not real happy about it! he has talent, but he also has the best car. even out the cars and we'll see where he really stands. right now, it's like richard petty in the 70's, he had talent, but he also had the better car. make the cars more equal and the driver makes more of a difference."Hang on a sec, the young'uns are throwin' beer cans at a golf cart."
