sweeney 0 #1 January 21, 2003 Dropzone.com won't be hearing from me for a while b/c come Jan. 22 I am off to Basic Training and won't be back until early June. Hopefully between Basic and Jump School I can sneak some jumps in. Anyways, it has been a blast skydiving since I started in July 2002 and I can't wait until I get back. I'm going to miss everyone at Raeford Parachute Center and chating with all the sky monkey's on Dropzone.com. This message is for John and Matt: Thanks for jumping with me and putting up w/ me when I stayed up all night laughing. Get Joey up to speed on dipping them knees so when I get back we will smoke every skydive. If you don't I'll BYFN! From: Gumby, the baddest motha to ever step in the ring. He had a blast. Really a question of mind over matter. Flip that same switch in your head that allows you to jump out of an airplane and use it to block out the BS that you have to deal with. I hope you like to run !-Jeff. http://www.iplummet.com Common sense and common courtesy are NOT common.

All these young monkey lips are great skydivers. Don't be gettin big heads, though, or I will stick all of your heads in a toilet! Chuckie

riggerrob 643 #20 January 21, 2003 Two hints: First apply for Officer Candidate School as soon as possible, so they will treat you better. Secondly, keep your mouth shut about any skydiving experience when you attend Airborne School. The ultimate laugh will be asking your instructors to sign your USAP logbook after they pin jump wings on you. Ha ha!

sweeney 0 #22 January 21, 2003 Hey Matt, I won't be able to jump for the next 13 weeks but then I get 2 weeks off and I'm going to try and make 5 jumps a day. I'm going to try and do this in Alabama and I'm also going to come to Raeford sometime during those two weeks and try and jump. I'll call you and John when I get in. It should be at the end of April. Hopefully I can get in enough jumps before I come back so I will already be refreshed. We'll (Paraclete) go ahead and bust out a 4 way when I return to raeford. steve1 5 #23 January 21, 2003 Where are you going to basic and A.I.T? I think you'll like jump school. I still miss military jumping. I went through infantry training and basic at Fort Polk. I wouldn't recommend that place. It's got to be the worst. Steve1

sweeney 0 #25 January 22, 2003 Yeah, thanks for the advice. When my dad was in the army they found out he had skydive'd before and made him do a lot of push ups and get out the aircraft before everyone else.
