Jessica 0 #1 January 20, 2003 Spending this weekend at the dropzone made me realize I can't keep these hours anymore. I miss skydiving and being with my friends too much. My quality of life is not good. If you know anyone looking for an editrix, let me know.Skydiving is for cool people only

I'm afraid I'm going to have to go corporate. I've never really had to look for a job before. How scary.Skydiving is for cool people only

cameramonkey 0 #6 January 20, 2003 I agree with Kelly. SWC is VERY cool, and just the right size in my opinion. (its my home dz too). We have a full time Caravan, good facilities (old bulidings but everything you need), and GREAT people. Come on out and play! Check out the Indianapolis, Dayton and Cincy markets for a job. Its within an hour drive of each. Unfortunately, there isnt much in the town of Richmond where it is located. I drive an extra 30 minutes farther than I NEED to skydive because I like it so well. I'm from Indy, so I can help ya avoid the scary parts of town when looking for a place to live if thats where ya land a job. But I feel your pain. Been looking for a new IT job here in Indy, and it sux. Doesnt help that the midwest is the worst part of the country for IT jobs. www.skydiverichmond.com Two wrongs don't make a right, however three lefts DO! skygal3 0 #7 January 20, 2003 aw, see how many people want you!! but seriously though, who cares if it is a temporary fix, you really do not know until you do it. You can take a "gap summer" and just get a feel for things and then go corporate, but if you feel that you are burning out you might jut need to step back, enjoy yourself and then take a deep breath and reanalyze the situation. while you can. you're young, nothing is holding you back.. scottbre 0 #16 January 21, 2003 Well don't undervalue the job you have too much. At least you have a job, and can afford to jump every once in awhile. It sucks to not be able to even consider jumping because of lack of funds/job. "Your mother's full of stupidjuice!" My Art Project
