Mindygirl 0 #1 January 21, 2003 Goodness it's 16 degrees out and the winds taking the chill factor wwaaayy down the Farhenheit scale. And of course, my furnace is all screwed up, I'm having to use space heaters.... The wood fire is going....oh damn I got to go out for more wood. Well, the poor dog's gotta go pee anyway. Next I'll get the crockpot going. It warms up the kitchen and smells soooo good all day. I've got an electric blanket on the bed, but don't want to lay around all day. Guess I could put on a wool hat and take a hot bath. Any suggestions on ways to get warm?

skygal3 0 #6 January 21, 2003 Sebazz knows what he is talking about. Listen to the wise man. We have wind chills between 5 to 25 BELOW. Yikes. Th wind is unrelentless. God bless my Burton snowboard jacket for when I have to be outside! Unfortunately, cranking the heat leads to other problems. I started to doze at the wheel today while i was on a long trip. Cava 0 #9 January 21, 2003 You could invite me over. I'm quite warm. Otherwise, when I'm feeling cold I imagine how I'd feel standing naked in a snowdrift on top of a mountain in Siberia or somewhere. Sometimes that makes me feel less cold. Well, once in a while it does. Actually it never does. Sorry. I haven't been any help, have I.

Push 0 #18 January 22, 2003 I had to walk to campus twice today. Each round trip is an hour of walking. Did I mention I'm in Canada? Hrm, my girlfriend has a huge heater right next to the bed. newshooter12 0 #25 January 22, 2003 I'll have to buy him a coffee or something else... he doesn't drink. But I'll pass it along. Everybody at work is all excited for him. He doesn't have any kids of his own. He's also working on a couple Documentaries while he's over there. Can't wait til he (Tom) and Leslie come back with Galina.... aka.
