CanuckInUSA 0 #1 January 19, 2003 Well it looks like Mother Nature has decided to screw with my jump numbers today. It's a beautiful warm sunny day today on the front range of Colorado. The only problem is that winds are howling at 30+ mph gusting to over 40 mph. I guess I'll just have to be contempt with the four jumps I did yesterday and the knowledge that I'm now a Team Bellas member (I've been impersonating one for some time now). Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
Slight 0 #2 January 19, 2003 I feel your pain brotha'. I was planning to jump today because I had to work all day yesterday. We can only hope that the winds will die down. Suck when the skys are blue, the air is warm, but you still can't jump.
PhreeZone 20 #3 January 19, 2003 Mother Nature either throws us 500 foot ceilings, sub freezing temps, or flooded runways usually from Dec 1 to March... I don't wanna hear it Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

nubain1 0 #22 January 20, 2003 I could have finished my "A" requirements today if it was'nt for the damn winds.I need 4 jumps to finish.I need a hop-n-pop and to spot.Looks like I have to wait another frickin week before I get to finish. I take the blame for the winds.Everytime I get a new piece of gear in the winds play hell.I just got my new bev suit today and you see what the winds were. When my rig came in it took 3 weeks before I finally got to put a jump on it.SOI apologise to everybody in Colorado that did'nt get to jump today.I'm sorry it's my fault. On the plus side that was the last thing I ordered,I have everything else so maybe the winds will die and stay dead since I'm not ordering anything else.
