SpeedRacer 1 #1 January 17, 2003 check out the temps for tonighthttp://www.weather.com/maps/news/forecastsummary/usweathertonight_large.html Tonight it will drop below freezing in Orlando FL and Houston TX. And most of the rest of the US will be freezing their butts off tonight. I hear they're taking the giant brass monkey off the top of the Empire State Building tonight. So how do you plan on dealing with the cold? I plan on staying inside w/ a video & drinking heavily! jessd 0 #2 January 17, 2003 I just heard on the news that it's going to be the coldest night in 3 years. Not sure how accurate that is, but it's gonna be cold. wmw999 2,537 #5 January 17, 2003 I'm in Houston... I'll probably conduct an experiment to see if the plants on my front porch freeze. I'll also whimper when I step outside and ride my motorcycle home tonight. Needless to say, I'm not going out to dinner, and my son is just going to have to come back with the car Wendy W. There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. We have the cold, now snow would be nice. I live right here, smack in the middle of what has been known as "The Snowbelt" for as long as I can remember. We had one good snowstorm back in October (I know, a good friend totaled her truck in it), and have had nothing since. You look outside and it's a wonderful shade of brown. Yuk!
