Bought a trailer and lived on the dz and worked there all summer! Didn't realize that we do get winter and cold months which ground us. And I thought I could never get grounded again....even joked to my mother...haha! I am now in OttawaOn living with the family since i haven't seen them much in the past few years. I'm here until March-April to save $$$$$$$ for my own gear too! Don't really know many people here, since my home town is Timmins ON.Not too far away from here! sistaluv 0 #22 January 14, 2003 Every year my home dz The canadian Skydive Center goes to skydive the Kootanys.....Amazing I love jumping in the mountains its really a rush when you start at 12500ft and around 6000ft the Mountains are going up around you while you are are free falling down. R00tj00se 0 #24 January 14, 2003 Just out of interest what kind of weather do u guys get in Vancouver. Like in January/February time what temperature (celsius) does it get to at altitude? Is skydive Vancouver somewhere that you can comfortably jump all year round or do u hang your rigs up for a couple of months. May be making a visit to Vancouver around April time and might try to get a jump in while I'm there. P.S. I'm from the UK if it makes a difference.
