Recommended Posts

Im Scottish, working for an American company on a contract for a Canadian company, for a project off the Ivory Coast......No wonder I'm confused....B|

I know a guy called Dougie from Moncton. 5'6", stocky. He jumps at Lake Wales during February. Know him?

yup! doogie jumps at skydive moncton, teaches first jump courses, does coaching, works the radio and throws people out of airplanes when he isn't busy. he is also in charge of the fire at the labor day boogie. i'm actually going out for beer with him (and a bunch of regulars) tonight. i'm hoping he has my new toys (altimeter and dytter) with him!

I'm a Cape Brettoner, living in Alberta now.

Lived in Prince George, BC for a bit - compared to the Maritimes - talk about a huge change in climates - it's too friggin' hot in the summer and too bloody cold in the winter.

Well in my profile it doesn't say because i'm on tour right now. I cut away last year from living 5yrs in NW Calgary.Love it there! Bought a trailer and lived on the dz and worked there all summer! Didn't realize that we do get winter and cold months which ground us. And I thought I could never get grounded again....even joked to my mother...haha! I am now in OttawaOn living with the family since i haven't seen them much in the past few years. I'm here until March-April to save $$$$$$$ for my own gear too! ;)Don't really know many people here, since my home town is Timmins ON.Not too far away from here! I've said it before and i'll say it again"I'm living a movie" life is too short, Live once, Live happy;);)B|:P;);)

Just out of interest what kind of weather do u guys get in Vancouver. Like in January/February time what temperature (celsius) does it get to at altitude?
Is skydive Vancouver somewhere that you can comfortably jump all year round or do u hang your rigs up for a couple of months.
May be making a visit to Vancouver around April time and might try to get a jump in while I'm there.

P.S. I'm from the UK if it makes a difference.
