The 80's

I was im'ing a certain smart-mouthed dz.commer the other night and mentioned that I graduated from high school in '83. She said that she graduated nursery school that year. Those young whipper-snappers, they need to learn to respect their elders!

I hope you weren't referring to me, b/c I wasn't even IN nursery school yet that year;) I do, however, remember asking you what a whipper-snapper was;):P

Don't worry, I tease BZ all the time when he reminisses about being doped up at some concert back in high school and I say, "Oh, yea. Yea, I was on the playground that day, playing 'Mother May I?'"

Ha ha ha! Mama, I always tell you, it always boggles me when I think about age. I really think of you and BZ as being like, two years older.

Age is just a # I think, b/c in years, I'm 22, but in everything else, I feel 32.:P
Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

What was everybody in the 80's,Prep,Stoner,Skater,dork,Punk,Mod????

I don't think that i really fit into any of those categories - I definitely had big hair, sometimes dressed preppy, but I wouldn't classify myself as any one of the above.

So you were a undercover stoner!:D

Pretty much, yep.

Undercover smoker too. Wasn't until my 5 year reunion that I found out about 3/4 of my friends were too!

Damn, we coulda had some serious fun back then! That's also the reunion I found out about a couple of hotties that liked me, and still did at the reunion. I was taken at the reunion, but damn! Why didn't they speak up earlier?!?! They had planned on grabbing me at the 5 year and hanging on. They were a bit disapointed when I brought my G/F, and told them about my newborn daughter.

SHIT SHIT SHIT!

For all of us 80's HS grads, I was getting my Drivers License renewed the other day and ran into the new class of 2005 who are getting their DL last week. Talk about a bunch of really young looking kids.

Does anyone remember Feathered Hair?

Hah! You suck! I graduated in '82 - the year that ruled all other years.

I hear you though... my son was born in '83...

'81. Bite me yet again, Bytch. Now I'm motivated to get my scanner hooked up.

The Senior prom when I was a junior in my powder blue tux.--- :P!

"Feathered" hair, "muscle" shirts... Even then we suspected it was bad.

Deuce buddy,

I also graduated in '81. I recall that powder blue tuxes were long out of style for our generation. They were like the early 70's. But then again, I was in New York and we tended to be ahead of the styles.
