Farthest driven for a boogie?

Recommended Posts

Alright, how far have you driven? Not flown, anyone can fly to a boogie, that's a cakewalk, now driving, that's hard core!

My personal best is driving nearly 1500 miles to eloy, but I'm sure someone has gone much farther. B|

Paris, France to Lidkoping, Sweden for the Hercules Boogie. I don't know how far it was. It took us a couple of days of pretty hard driving.

Drove to Zhills from Houston for the Easter boogie once. I didn't have a spare tire in the car, either. Nothing like planning ahead.

Does traveling from CA to Lahti, Finland for the World Games count? B| (first year skydiving was invited into the event).

If so, that's over 6,000 miles! And, oh what fun it was!!!

44hrs Brisbane to Darwin - four drivers with severe "travel-head" when we got there. I don't know how many miles it is.
(I flew home :S)

My candle burns at both ends It will not last the night;
But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends - It gives a lovely light.

I think Cajones and Lewmonst win the award for the Eloy boogie. I think they drove down from Greenland or something:P

B|thank you for the special mention... I do believe Cajones and I would be top competition in this category... It was about 1950 miles from Cincinnati, Ohio (not quite greenland, but might as well have been) to Eloy Arizona. The trip there took 38 hours becuase we went through that big blizzard right before christmas, and drove through it starting in Missouri, and all through Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico all the way to Flagstaff Arizona, still a blizzard. Cajones is the man, he drove the majority of the trip... but it's his truck and I figured I'd let him be the one to wreck it trying to pass a semi on snow and ice where you can't even tell where the pavement is going 50 mph... we only spun out once. luckily we didn't get stuck like about 50 other cars we passed. Anyway, it was 27 hours back, much easier.

and, ELOY was WORTH IT!!! we've got blizzard footage, might through a split second in the boogie video for laughs.

peace
