Luna 0 #1 January 13, 2003 Okay, I'm putting in a resume tomorrow for a new job. Not only would it get me out of the hellhole I've been in for 3 1/2 long years, it would totally rock! It is at Anheuser-Busch brewery, and one of the bennies is something like 4-6 cases of FREE BEER a month! So, if nothing else, send good vibes for my fellow skydivers at my club who would greatly benefit from my newfound "wealth" since, I'm ashamed to say, I don't like beer. I DO like alcohol, don't get me wrong, just not in the form of beer. Anyway, the job would also shave around an hour off my commuting time every day, which is yet another huge plus for me. Thanks for the vibes, and I'll let you know how it works out. I'm walking a marathon to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Click Here for more information! Gawain 0 #4 January 13, 2003 ~~~~~GOOD VIBES~~~~~~~~~Now for a brief pep-talk: 1. Arrive early, but not too early (~10-15 mins). 2. Before you get out of your car and go in, stop everything, close your eyes, take a deep breath through the nose, and out the mouth. 3. Once you are in the interview with the AB rep, repeat every question asked of you in your mind before you reply. This gives you a chance to not respond on instinct and may even help you understand the question better. Don't be afraid to ask for questions to be repeated. 4. When you respond, or speak, don't rush. From your perspective, speak as though you're speaking half a beat slower. You are, in fact, speaking at the perfect pace. 5. When they ask you for your questions, ask some -- When will they make a decision? How many interviews in the process? Do you want any references (if not already provided)? My experience only. But when I've had a really good interview, I can't remember a thing about it! Go out there and kick *ss! So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! Michele 1 #5 January 13, 2003 Heather, you rawk. You're a skydiver, you have faced some amazing challenges in your life, you have overcome them and moved forward. For whatever it's worth, I adore you, am proud of you, and think you're one hell of a great chick. Go get the job, or, if this one doesn't work, find one which will. Life's too short, and joy too rare, to spend time doing something you don't like, and dread. you will be wonderful - you already are wonderful - and I love ya, chickie-pie! ~~~~~Vibes~~~~~ You rawk!
