This is sick !!

I have stopped watching fear factor because of all the gross things that they eat. GROSS. It makes my stomach turn. :S I would not even attempt to get some of that shit down for money - because I know I couldn't do it.

(on eating awful stuff on Fear Factor)

Something to consider -- if they fed you anything that could actually harm you, they'd make it easier to be sued successfully. So while it's disgusting, it's unlikely to do anything besides make you puke.

Plenty of people here drink to the point of puking -- why not eat something disgusting and get paid for it instead?:D

Oh, I've had my fair share of puking after drinking...but, I just know that I would never be able to finish a brain or some animals ass (unless it was in the form of a hotdog, who knows what's in there), so I would not even start to. I just know that the taste and experience of it all would just haunt me for life.

I second that motion!

And I don't get it. Eating a buffalo penis on television? Sounds only slightly less degrading than the recent "marry a millionare" scenario.

Skydiving is easy. All you have to do is relax while plummetting at 120 mph from 10,000' with nothing but some nylon and webbing to save you.

wendy is right, on my way back from eloy i was driving through vegas and they had the host on.. he was talking aboutthe 45 page waiver the people have to sign and how that everything they serve on the show has documented cases of people eating it as a delecasy or whatever else...but that people do or have regulally eaten it before....

Yup.

I read somewhere (don't remember where, but it was interesting) about the "food" that the people eat on that show. 100 year old eggs? Give me a friggin break! Where exactly do you get 100 years old eggs? I smell BS! Yep, most of that stuff is pickled (like pickled eggs and pickled turkey gizzards). Now, the pickling solution they use is quite a bit stronger than you everyday stuff, but it's still the same thing. The "100 year old eggs" are just pickled (strong) eggs that were dyed black. Hey, no problem! Bring 'em on! I buy, and eat, pickled eggs and turkey gizzards by the jar full!

So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh
Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright
'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life
Make light!

Jars of pickled eggs and turkey gizzards are a part of the tavern league food groups up here. Ya drink all afternoon, don't want to order a pizza yet, and just need a snack to hold ya over. Real men eat pickled food!

While I've never pickled gizzards, I'll admit to making pickled eggs every year. Beet juice, vinegar, spices. Plop in hard-boiled eggs and leave for a few days.

They turn a lovely purple, and are hugely popular. Really. I'd share, but that would mean less for me :)
Then there's the pickled herring...
