LURKERS ON DZ.COM

Recommended Posts

Has anyone else noticed that at times there are just as many if not more "guests" on dz.com than registered users? My hunch is it's all the anti-social, "I had to sew my own canopy when I was learning to skydive" types from over at rec. checking out what the rest of the world is doing.:D;) What's everyone else think?

I'd say guests are the skygod wanna-be's skydivers :Pwho only say they can skydive and there are more of them right now because most of the ppl logged on are out skydiving as we speak.

I guess you don't know what the weather is like in Chicago right now!

The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.

Maybe it's just fear of asking whether a certain kind of tuna is dolpin safe only to be buried in answers blaming the asker for commercial fishing, sonar murder of whales, catastophic carbon dioxide emissions melting Antarctica and halitosis.

Or maybe they are scared you're the REAL LouDiamond.:P

OH MY GOD! It's true! I've never seen the two of you in the same room at the same time!

You seem much more butch in person! :P

That's because I don't put any hair gel in my hair when I'm skydiving. Plus it throws off all the fans enough that I can actually get my chute packed in time for the next load.;)

Well, I searched for "boobies" to see if DZ.com was in the first page or two of hits. It wasn't so I searched within the results for "clay" and it was the second hit. From there I read the post and I couldn't find and instance of "boobies". Confused, I clicked the "boobies" button on my Google Toolbar and it highlighted the word. Thing of it is was that he had used the word in white type (you can not see it) to add some space in his sig line. I just though it was kinda funny:)

IMO, there are no "skygods." Jump nubers don't mean shit. And, you're only as good as your last jump.:)
BTW, I lurk both forums. I wouldn't generalize "chickenshits", They are everywhere. not just on rec. or Dropzone., but everywhere in life.

My 2 cents.
