dmcculloch 0 #1 November 12, 2012 Hi Guys. Just got my first rig the other day ( Mirage G4 )and have a question about the placement of the tuck tab for the Free Fly PUD. I have just placed it inside the BOC up against the bottom of the rig. But it seems like it serves no purpose there. Could someone please shed some light for me as to the correct procedure. Thanks :)

JackC1 0 #3 November 12, 2012 The material for the RH side flap continues under the bottom of the rig next to the BOC pouch and creates an overlapping region against the bottom of the container. You usually stuff the excess bridle in that overlap as your route it down towards the BOC pouch. The pud tuck tab goes in that overlap where the bridle emerges to go into the BOC pouch. This secures the handle to the container and covers the exposed bridle.

mr2mk1g 10 #5 November 12, 2012 Yup - do some practice pulls with it on the ground as well. Depending on the exact design / stiffnes of everything, you may find that you will feel happier pulling the pud towards the boc slightly then pulling as usual rather than just pulling everything away from the boc. With the tab tucked into the last flap things may feel a little different to what you've been used to so far.
