IronMike 0 #1 January 6, 2003 And Im going to see my ex of 7 yrs and her new husband along with all the old clan Sat Night. We are all going to Pappadeaux....I have this stange urge to make her jealous..????Im not in love with her anymore and truly want her to be happy... I am in much better shape right now than I ever was when we were dating and Im all tan and blonde...Her excitement consists of a bowling league and Church...My life is consierably more exciting. I also got promoted over her brother, who works for the same company, and he has been there 7 years longer than me...Why am I feeling like this???? I don't conciously want to. wmw999 2,517 #2 January 6, 2003 It's pretty natural. Really. Just remember you guys aren't competing for the same thing, unless you count happiness. But what makes you happy wouldn't make her happy, and vice-versa. Enjoy her happiness, and the fact that it doesn't cost you anything, and hope she can enjoy yours on the same terms. And if she can't, well, I'd say screw her, but you probably don't want to go there... Wendy W.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. (tbrown)
IronMike 0 #3 January 6, 2003 What is really cool is the fact that we still truly love each other. Last new years eve, her husbands father, a very repected family man, Bank President and Elder at the Church, hung himself. Turns out he had been embezzeling for years. My ex came back to TX without her husband because she had to work. She callled me because she was alone in the house and freaked out. We talked for 9 hours. She said I was the only one she felt comfortable talking to, even her family. Thats why I dont get these feelings right now.

IronMike 0 #5 January 6, 2003 OK...heres one thing that bothers me...I actually went to her wedding and it was the first time I met her husband. I offer him a firm shake and look him in the eye.....He gives me a limp ass handshake back and looks at the floor. Im not the manliest man but damn! BTW...I met her when she was dating my best friend. I just was her friend for 2 years while they dated. He is still my best friend....I should write a book.
