skymama 37 #6 December 30, 2002 1 (helicopter jump):8: lots I got chauffeured to Sebastian to jump with Skydiverbrian and Kevin922, and we had a blast down there. The helicopter jump right next to the Atlantic Ocean was absolutely amazing! I also did a great 7 way sit dive with Mike Swanson, and he gave me a good review afterwards. Today I jumped in Deland with Vallerina, Wildblue, Cajun and Kevin again and had another awesome day. Who needs Eloy, I had yankees escaping the cold! She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

skymama 37 #8 December 30, 2002 Quote Tell those losers that it was 41 here and cloudy here today. Heehee, Val was worried about getting a sunburn earlier today. Oh, and I jumped with her in the freefly suit you gave her. She rocked! skymama 37 #10 December 30, 2002 Oh, I'm not getting in the middle of this! Maybe I misunderstood her. You wouldn't want it now anyway, it has blood on it. It's not from skydiving, she had a cut on her finger from packing her suitcase I think. freeflir29 0 #13 December 30, 2002 190:0:0 Number of times my son has shot a paper plate with a pellet gun in the last two afternoons. I'm afraid he's going to have a grossly over developed right arm from pumping that thing so many times. Oh well...he loves it. No jumping for me.....maybe on Friday if I get REALLY lucky. indyz 1 #18 December 30, 2002 0:0:0 I'm planning on heading up to Sky Knights next weekend if the weather is good. I know there are DZ.commers that jump there (Dumpster, ladyskydiver), but I never seem to meet any of them.
AndyMan 7 #19 December 30, 2002 ? - my crackhead is 2000 miles away, but I did pop in to see her on a chicago layover friday night. 2 - I'm in sacramento, and made it down to Lodi today after the monsoons cleared. Interesting place, to say the least. No gear check, no USPA licence check. Just a logbook check. Two jumps, flew camera for an 8 way, then hopped in on a six point six way. Someday I hope to make it back. 2 - first time at Lodi, first time jumping my new Suunto watch. It was an interesting day. Started off by driving up to Lake Tahoe for some skiing. I almost made it, too. Driving from Sacramento to Lake Tahoe involves driving OVER the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The road peaks at 7000 feet. What I didn't consider though, was that the monsoon that drenched me yesterday was pounding the mountains today. I made it up to 5000 feet before being turned back due to lack of tire chaines. Who knew? Drive back to hotel, ditch ski gear, pick up jumping gear, and drive 30 minutes south to jump in a t-shirt. I like this place! I'm also finding Sacramento an incredibly beautiful city. _Am__ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.

AndyMan 7 #22 December 30, 2002 QuoteThat rocks huh? Actually, I found it a bit disturbing that it was so easy to walk in and jump. I don't generally get my logs signed, and even if I did it'd be incredibly easy to fake one. I like that USPA cards are realtively forge-proof. There really wasn't any kind of evalution of me when I showed up. The manifest woman just looked at the last page of my logbook (jump numbers, and date) said "excellent", and put me on the next load. What I did like (forgot to mention) was the COMPLETE lack of a waiver. When I asked if there was one I should sign, she told me no, their version of the waiver was printed on the back of the jump ticket. "Which ticket"? I asked.... They weren't using jump tickets today cause it was a slow day.... No waiver! _Am__ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.
