rhino 0 #1 December 27, 2002 Why is it that Mother's day is taken so seriously.... Fathers day is just another day... When a Mom goes to school and works for a living raising a kid it is a big deal.. When a Dad does the same it is expected and blown off.. Why do Mom's get all the praise and Dad's get the left overs? Why is that? I feel like Dad's get the shit end of the stick in today's world... This one is for the DAD's.. If you are a Dad making things happen. Doing what is best for your kids. Fighting the Good fight, Not giving up, Fuckin A!!! Good for you!! Here is the praise that Dad's normally don't get!! Rhino And for the many good Mom's.. You already know we love you...
hooked 0 #2 December 27, 2002 I think times are changing. Years ago....Dad's took very little concern over the care of their children. The job was the Mothers to take daily care (changing diapers, feeding, watching, etc.) and now Fathers are accepting participating in their childs daily care. I have seen this change with my sons and their children and with others around me. Hang in their Dads, recognition for your love and participation is oncoming!J -------------------------------------- Sometimes we're just being Humans.....But we're always Human Beings. Skitzo 0 #3 December 27, 2002 Awww. I don't think its so much that Moms get all the hooplaw, Theres nothing more admiringly beautiful than a wonderful relationship between a doding Father and his child/children!I think its just goes by not getting as much props because Mother's Day is in May and school is still going, When Fathers Day comes around schools out for summer, and all those cute little projects the school does for Moms dont get done for Dads.Don't Fret, whats important is your childrens feelings, I'm far from a child, (cept at the DZ) but my Dad will always be #1 in my book. flyangel2 2 #4 December 27, 2002 I always send my dad a gift on Father's Day. He spoils me, so I try to spoil him back. My dad is the best, he was at the JFTC every day, and even pick up girls at the airport when they arrived and drove them out to Perris.
