wingnut 0 #1 December 20, 2002 well her's the update on what's ggoing on with me.... i come tolog on and there are 4k new posts.....and i don't have internet yet in my new place........ well i left colorado springs on wednesday and drove the 600 miles to utah land of wierd laws concerning booze.... yeah i go to the store on base and they have thier beer labled "strong beer" now this is regular strength beer to you and me but to the utah people it is strong because the strongest you can find in the stores is 4%,,,,,, man i love that i can buy beer on base and get the full strength stuff.....oh yeah, kegs are illegal!!! you can't even smuggle em into the states...so wierd this state is......... but i got all the paperwork done and i'll be leaving to eloy on monday so....WOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!! sooooooo.....i leave you guys with this....."see ya in eloy"....... ______________________________________ "i have no reader's digest version" Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

outofit 0 #9 December 22, 2002 utah also has strick laws against smoking too. they have an indoor clean air act which prohibits smoking indoors anywhere in the state. i was there in august and a buddy of mine stopped at a chevron station just off of I-15. there were no smoking sidns plastered all over the outside of the store. my buddy goes in to use the bathroom and their is a sign over the urinal which reads, "if u r smoking in here u better be on fire!" so what does my buddy do? he goes up to the counter on the way out and asks to buy a pack of cigarettes and u guessed it the clerk responded by informing him that they didn't sell cigarettes!
