Hey, writing paper here. I need an example of a known bill(it would be lovely if it dealt with international economics) that died out or was shot down due to changing of power in the government. Please?

Hawley-Smoot tariff bill..passed in the late '20's early thirties..raised international tarrifs to raise revenue for the federal government..didn't work. You could say that that kind of thinking changed when FDR was elected..

I don't have any specific examples, but believe you may be able to find just what you're looking for around the time that WW I broke out. There may be some other examples around the time Hitler came to power. Also, Castro's rise to power certainly had a major impact on economic policies with the US.

Other politically unstable areas to investigate would be portions of Africa and Southeast Asia.

yeah, it sucks. They give you an empty little book telling you your diploma will arrive in the mail IF you complete the requirements--which for me, is this paper and an exam this week.
