cbain 0 #1 December 9, 2002 No jumping this weekend due to a rollerblading incident on Friday. Spent 4 hours in the ER, nothing broken but pretty bruised, bumped, scraped up. Was going down a hill with a turn at the bottom with some lose sand on the pavement too and I can't stop very well. Didn't make the turn. Hit the pavement as I was also flung into a railing hitting my hip. I'm black and blue from the front of my hip all the way around and across my ass cheek and about 10 inches the other direction. And it just started to bruise, not even finished growing yet. After I fully recover, I'm sticking to skydiving, it's much safer! Ouch, Christina

jlmiracle 7 #3 December 9, 2002 I quit rollerblading when I started skydiving. Didn't want to get hurt. Get well soon. JudyBe kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

freeflir29 0 #5 December 9, 2002 A friend of my brothers fell off her horse Sunday. She broke a rib, her collar bone, and likely would have sustained a serious head injury had she NOT been wearing a helmet. There was a large dent from the horses foot where he stepped on her head. I keep telling them to stick to something safe like skydiving.
skygal3 0 #6 December 9, 2002 I went feet over head quite a few times down the side of a mountain yesterday...made me thank God I am a skydiver...I am not quite as bruised as you are, but I feel your pain today...

ChileRelleno 0 #13 December 10, 2002 If its not a skydiving injury your barking up the wrong tree for sympathy. Your even more stupid than Duece, atleast he scraped himself up while jumping.
