QuoteI think Gus has got this one nailed down here, Americans hate being wrong on any issue, Moore likes to fly these issues like a banner behind a 182 for everyone to see, and we have a rough time with that (even when we agree with him).

There is an old joke that a bad day is when you come home and find a "60 minutes" news van in your driweway.
It's kind of like that. People don't like MM because he is a dick. He comes up to people and pushes a mke in their face and asks them questions phrased like "What are you doing to stop the evil...something...conspiracy?" The question defines the issue as a problem before you get to answer and then it accuses you as a conspirator. If you refuse to be interviewed then he uses some character assassination on you. You are "hiding something from America" statements.
Anyone who treats me like that is a dick. That is why people don't like him. If anyone shows up at your office and demands to talk to you about
WOW! Source code is hard to uncrypt. Good thing I be gettin stoned! I'll say it out loud. I'm getting very, very baked. So, to the police:
"Come find me."
pukes.....I bet the trace on this has begun.
Which IP?
Where did it come from?
What is the real meaning?
Which user name?
What tone of VOICE did he use?
Which personality was he talking from?
What are the related topics Michael Moore spoke about?
Do we really care that much to discuss Michael Moore.
There's a button that works great on my computer for censoring out offensive comments. When I get really offended, I just turn OFF the computer. It does not matter what people tell me, or think of me. My life is more than a personality on a computer.
Peace,
Thomas

Even taking additional taxes into account, it doesn't make any sense. I mean, I could imagine a scenario in which someone could conceivably have a 50% tax burden, but no accountant would actually let that happen. And nobody would turn down a raise because they'd "have to pay more taxes." I call bullshit.
Because he offers no feasible solutions. He just points out problems with the current system in a way that makes people want to watch. He is nothing more than an entertainer.
BTW....I don't believe Clinton is related to the devil, he is married to her.

QuoteGus, how would you know what makes up an average american??? spent any considerable time here? lived here?
LOL, I knew someone would pick me up on that! I'm quite confident that if Michael Moore turned his attentions to the UK he would hit a little too close to home for your average Brit - it's about challenging the status quo: that's just the definition of what he does.

If I made $146000 I probably wouldn't turn down a raise -- after all, 50% of nothing is still less than 50% of something.
