blewaway5 0 #52 December 5, 2002 Wow, hadn't thought of The City of Lost Children for a while. That is a slightly strange one, but I loved it. I thought the flea things were kinda cool, too. Truman Sparks for President
SpeedRacer 1 #53 December 5, 2002 Yeah I like old movies. There's a place in Frederick (Weinberg Arts Center) that every once in awhile shows REALLY old movies: silent films from the '20s. It's the only place in the USA that has an originally installed Wurlitzer organ from that era. Even has the old 1920's gadgets for making sound effects! But yeah, I like renting an old John Wayne or Humphrey Bogart movie now & then too. Bogart rules!! sunshine 2 #54 December 5, 2002 I like alot of old movies. The black and white scary movies rock. The original House on Haunted Hill and The Haunting. Carnival of Souls, Pyscho, any of the Vincent Price movies.... ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug! SpeedRacer 1 #55 December 5, 2002 hmmm Ok The Haunting. I will rent that. But its going to be a long, snowy day, so I'll need at least one more. Hey, speaking of lesser known movies, here's another one, from 1980 or so: Ghost Story. pretty good horror film w/ a nice storyline. more suggestions, please! dzdiva 7 #56 December 5, 2002 That sounds really cool!! You were asking for suggestions. What kind of movie are you in the mood for? As for silent movies-I'm a big Charlie Chaplin fan!! I used to watch scary movies all the time when i was a teenager. If you want a good recent scary one, i think 13 Ghosts is very cool. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug! SpeedRacer 1 #63 December 5, 2002 Here's another cool foreign film: The Kingdom. It's really long, I think it might have been a two-part TV series. Its from Finland or Norway or something like that. Its about a large modern hospital which turns out to be HAUNTED!! Been described as "ER on acid!"
