The only reason I am hesitant to jump it is that it's such a HUGE jump in performance that it would take quite a while to really dial it in. Snowflake 0 #6 December 5, 2002 heres the first question for CN#3 ......So my container was getting a mod and stuff. I asked one of the video guys if I could use his rig(it has a Cobalt 150 in it). He said yes and said the cobalt was in his mirage. I grab a mirage out of the video room and ask ****(name withheld to protect the guilty) if this is the right rig he laughs and says no it's Erics Xaos 88. He takes the rig from me and says he'll get it......you can see where this is heading......he comes back with a different Mirage. I ask him if he's sure this is the right one. He says yes. I go and have a great jump with Treeman track away and as usual with a Cobalt I pull in full track. and bam instant canopy I look up thru all the dancing blue lights flying around my eyeballs and WTF there are no double diamonds and this isn't his vengence WTF am I flying. I yank a toogle and I'm spinning real fast this is definitly not a 150. I now opt for the minimal input land straight in option. I land with no problems and I check the tag and much to my suprise I've just jumped a Stilleto 107. So my question is since I can land a 107 now should I forget about getting a few hundred more jumps on my Cobalt 150 and downsize to velocity 97. I mean I obviously have the canopy skills for it. I don't even know why I was thinking I needed more jumps on my current canopy. I do believe I'll look at ordering one right now. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
