flyhi 24 #6 December 4, 2002 Been jumping in north Florida and it has been cool in the mornings and warming up during the day. Avg temperature is low/mid 50 in the AM and up to high 60's/low 70's. Last Saturday was cloudy and overcast (2 H&P's and one trip to altitude), but that hasn't been the norm. In general, it has been clear as a bell. On climbs to altitude we have seen both the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico. Winds have been light, again, except for last Saturday. In general, come on down, the wx is much better than in Ohio, but bring some long sleeve stuff for the evenings.Shit happens. And it usually happens because of physics. skydiverbrian 0 #8 December 4, 2002 Quote Avg temperature is low/mid 50 in the AM and up to high 60's/low 70's. This, by the way, is freezing cold to Floridians, so we'll all be wearing mittens and muffs. The forecast is for warmer temps for the next couple days, but cold (like mid 30s) at night. If you forget to bring someone to keep warm with, there are plenty here! In a world full of people, only some want to fly... isn't that crazy! --Seal
deefly 0 #9 December 4, 2002 I'll keep that in mind, but I don't think my husband will approve!Deefly
flyhi 24 #10 December 4, 2002 Quote Where are you jumping in FL? Jumped in Lake Wales last Wednesday and Skydive Palatka on Saturday and Sunday. Plan to do Deland this Saturday and, possibly, Palatka on Sunday, depending on other "relative work" I have to do. If you get in the area, let us know. Usually a large group of DZ.commers at Deland.Shit happens. And it usually happens because of physics.
skydiverbrian 0 #11 December 4, 2002 Quote I'll keep that in mind, but I don't think my husband will approve! Thanks for the info! Well stay away from Zhills, then. There's a big gay german who snatches guys' towels as they come out of the shower, then chases them around the ghetto. deefly 0 #12 December 4, 2002 Don't know if we'll make it to Deland. We plan to hit Z-Hills, Lake Wales and Sabastian before we had back home. Deefly
skymama 37 #13 December 4, 2002 The temps should feel pretty mild to you guys. I won't be at the dropzones this weekend (gotta take care of some Christmas chores) but have a great time down here! She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

Last weekend. 70's. Wear a windbreaker/sweater before 9:30am. After that, it's t-shirt weather all day. Gloves for skydiving, maybe even socks. Last Saturday night was warm enough that I just wore a t-shirt around until 10:30. However, it has gotten cool enough for a jacket and jeans in the evening. The bonfire solves that problem. Skymama did the tent thing last weekend, so she would be the person to ask if you are camping. Thanks to the snow in the Great White North, we have plenty of Otters to play with. jraf 0 #20 December 4, 2002 That's what I'm saying. He was Mexican. While you guys were lapdancing on Terrasino I had a nice Mexican ham. Juicy. We spiked him with garlic, added a bit of basil. Very nutricious. As a matter of fact I like international quisine. I hear some Irish are coming out soon. Never had Irish before jraf Me Jungleman! Me have large Babalui. Stacy 0 #21 December 4, 2002 I wasn't lap dancing on terasino. I pimped out someone to dance for me. I'm a smart skydiver chick. The Finns should be out soon too, if i remember correctly they come at new years/christmas-ish.

Seems like the medication would slow it down to "distinct" or something.
Galen 0 #25 December 4, 2002 "Distinct" maybe, "acute" no. Unless mild sedatives mixed with hard hallucinogenics are prescribed. We'll have to slip him somenext weekend and see what happens. Respect the Dolphin
