just letting ya know.. it is possible to be a grandparent at like age 20 or so..even earlier.....not very likly, but posible.....anyone seen the movie "don't be a menace to south entral while drinking your juice in the hod".....wierd movie..actually has a guy that is younger than someone as the dad...funny stuff...

I know it's *possible* to be a grandparent at a really young age, but it's not common. I just meant she looks quite young.

Yup it sure is. When I was pg with my son I lived in a maternity home in San Francisco (long story). One of the girls there was 12 and she was planning to keep her baby (I kid you not; she was going back home to the projects where she had several aunts to help her). We figured out that she could easily have been a grandmother by the time she was 24 if she didn't make an effort to "break the cycle" and teach her child that having a baby when you're still basically a kid youself is not a recipe for success in life.

That picture was taken in May of this year about a month after I turned 41.

I look even more different now. Shorter hair and about 30 pounds lighter.
