JDBoston 0 #6 November 26, 2002 40124 you mean? Otherwise that sounds like a pretty long processing delay... Joe

kevin922 0 #9 November 26, 2002 QuoteAggieDave, A->D in one easy step, and used the $40 saved for jumps... You can't do that can you? You have to have 2 night jumps for d and can't do night jumps without a B, right?
freeflir29 0 #10 November 26, 2002 Quote A->D in one easy step Yep...I got an A just to get it. Skipped the B and got a C. Can't remember exactly why but there was some reason. Coach rating maybe. Then finally got my D a couple months ago. I too saved $40 that was UNDOUBTEDLY spent on jumps...
freeflir29 0 #11 November 26, 2002 Quote can't do night jumps without a B That's a "reccomendation" not a hard and fast rule. I guess it depends on your S&TA and DZO.
SpeedRacer 1 #12 November 26, 2002 Quotecan't do night jumps without a B, right? actually, you can do night jumps without a B at the discretion of your DZO as long as you have a B equivalent...ie. fulfilled all the requirements But don't you have to take ALL the written tests? AggieDave 6 #13 November 26, 2002 Quote guess it depends on your S&TA and DZO. It does. Most will let you jump "B qualified" if they know you (read: know you're a safe jumper who will handle themselves accordingly).--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." MyUserID 0 #14 November 26, 2002 Hey, I have 43 jumps and NO license. Not that I have made an attempt to get one yet. ------------------------------------------------------ Remember kids, eagles may soar, but at least weasels dont get sucked into jet engines. AggieDave 6 #15 November 26, 2002 Yeah, you have to take the tests, those are simple. You save $20 per license by not actually getting one, though, so for people like me, that extra $40 helps out a lot.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." freeflir29 0 #17 November 26, 2002 QuoteI have 43 jumps and NO license There's no problem with that at all until you try to go to another DZ. Then you will have problems. Snowbird 0 #19 November 26, 2002 CSPA (As in Canadian) A#10124. Yes I can type.Different rules, different qualifications. Things like, now I can jump with people who aren't coach 2's, so that I can work on my qualifications for my B. I don't know much about USPA progression, but I've gotten the impression that CSPA is more methodical, with more requirements at the lower licensing levels. freeflir29 0 #20 November 26, 2002 Silly Canadians.... Sorry....Like a dummy i assumed it was a USPA license. Don't worry.....all this confusion will go away in Sep 03 when the jump number requirements for USPA licenses will be the same as everyone elses. Good thing I already have a D lic. AggieDave 6 #21 November 26, 2002 Blame Canada! I was assuming it was USPA too... Yeah, I'm glad I've already got my D, but I guess it wouldn't matter since I'll have 500 jumps before September anyways. --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
