freakous 0 #2 November 19, 2002 There are three DZ's right near there. That time of year, pretty much weekend only..but absolutely open. Come on out to Skydive Va in Louisa (about 45 minutes to 1/2 hour) and bring gloves. Couple of crewdogs there as well if your willing to bear the cold. LouDiamond 1 #7 November 20, 2002 Dude ya gotta go to Orange. The super Otter rocks, you can FF or RW,whatever you want with No attitudes, super cool folks that know how to party afterwards. Sunset load always kicks beer and if your lucky you'll be there for a HIM. Fredricksburg is about a 30 min drive and most of that is just getting through Fredricksburg traffic lights."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
bigs024 0 #8 November 20, 2002 I'm new to Virginia and want to get into skydiving (two jumps so far, but quite a while ago). I wouldn't mind checking out Orange if it's as cool as everyone says. Let me know when you're up here. I'm coming from Richmond, and could probably give you a lift. Dave
Luna 0 #9 November 20, 2002 If you are in Richmond, West Point is very close for you. It is a small, club DZ. Everyone is super nice. It's very laid back. They usually have either an Otter or a King Air, and they do jump all winter. We'd love to see you out there! I'm walking a marathon to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
