aerorigging 6 #1 February 16, 2013 A customer come with his xaos 88 for a reline an we found a asimetric problem in one attachment point of the stering lines, 1 little cell more in one side, and after he jump it he notice a slightly turn in full speed. What about some quality controls? Nicolas Lopez Master Rigger Aerorigging Parachute Loft
darkwing 5 #2 February 16, 2013 What did the manufacturer say when they were informed? I'm pretty sure they are a little embarrassed. I'm a realist, and stuff gets done wrong. Nobody died. Get it fixed, send them the bill. -- Jeff My Skydiving History

diablopilot 2 #4 February 17, 2013 QuoteWhat about some quality controls? I've been in this business for 15 years selling gear and EVERY manufacturer has a cock up. What matters is how they handle it after the fact, so before you get on your high horse, talk to them. My bet is I've see pretty big errors from whomever your favorite manufacturer(s) are.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously. leon.hill 1 #5 February 20, 2013 When you say "1 little cell more in one side", do you mean the ripstop squares at the line attachment? These squares are geneally 1/8th of an inch. I would be more inclined to say position in the harness caused his "slight turn in full speed." I would contact Precision-Aero for line length tolerance for trimming this canopy. My 2 cents.
