Guys: What kind of perfume do you like on your woman?

Recommended Posts

That is so funny but so true. My first JM who did jump 1 and 2 commented on how I smelled after an entire day at the DZ waiting forever to do my tandem. I had Angel on that morning at 6 but by 6 that afternoon sitting around in the heat I'm sure it was gone so it was just me.

Victoria's Secret makes a yummy smelling Vanilla lotion and bodyspray.

I gotta agree with the Vanilla scents. They are awsome on a woman.

On the other hand, the two favorite scents I like on a woman are: A. That "just stepped out of the shower clean" Smell and 2. That "Just got done with a 6 hour marathon love making session and I'm getting ready for more" smell.

Nothing. Perfume makes women smell like chemicals instead of like women.

amen..go with the lotion, oils, shampoo, sweat...and whatever..that artificial alcohol smell is just terrible..

or just go here...amazing how the last 2 significant relations i had both knew about this place...
more women should smell so wonderful..of course then i might die of exhaustion too...:)

I'm with everyone who said "Vanilla" of one flavor or another.

Maybe it's just the boring, stay at home part of me--makes me feel like she's been baking cookies all day or something.

But, whatever is, it sure works.

Probably not news, but the olfactory sense triggers incredible memories for me. Just a hint of a scent will transport me across miles or decades. However, the scent of a woman also engages phemorones, (i think they are called, if my spelling isn't too poor) much more of our animal nature, and what the perfume industry really wants to sell.
On the other hand, the scent that i really love is the smell of sleep. With the right person, when you wake up in the morning and your sweetie is still in dreamland, and you just wrap yourself around them and snuggle (ha, i better stop now)
I've been hanging with some yoginis lately that have been using a few different ayervedic recipes that sooth the nerves and calm the mind, and some are very appealing. But, the best i know of is a woman i know in Paris and she uses her own "scent". It drives men nuts when she walks into a room. It isn't an everyday thing, but woah, that woman has power.

Kenzo's Kenzo (I think it was that one)...

It was some six years ago... I met this girl at a lecture and I swear, based almost solely to her sent, I asked her out. Gee... She was ok looking but it was the sent that _totally_ drove me crazy.

Well, the thing didn't last too long, but afterwards another girl from the same program asked why had I asked her in the first place...

I told her the truth and she said: "Yeah, I totally know what you are talking about - I'm straight, but that sent of hers got me 'confused' too..."

So ladies, next time you pass by a perfume store, try it. - - Oh, another thing - do not overuse _any_ perfumes. That totally turns off any guy - besides, the idea is to smell the sent from close by, not 100ft head wind :D.

ALL perfumes are great!!!,,,so,,,,,,,,,,,
I would like whatever SHE likes ;) and whatever that woman feels GOOD wearing...
If it puts a sparkle in her eyes, makes HER feel confident and attractive and enhances an otherwise pleasant personality..then that's the one which I would like....:)

I think the thing that really makes my knees weak (literally too) is the scent of Vanilla

Ugh...the scent of vanilla makes me want to puke...literally...I can't STAND it!;)

I wear perfume probably one night a week. My favorite is Victoria's Secret Angels Heavenly scent. BZ fricken LOVES it b/c when we first started dating and I'd stay at his house or wear his shirt and then I'd leave, he'd always faintly smell it in the bed or on his shirt when I was gone. I think when I wear it, it brings back those memories for him;)

As for guys...BZ doesn't wear anything but soap. I really like it! I can't stand heavy cologne on men, but I must say, I REALLY like Hugo Boss for men.
Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

My favorite is Victoria's Secret Angels Heavenly

Me too, I've been wearing it for 2 years. Whenever someone hugs me they always tell me I smell good, and ask what I'm wearing, I reply "Heavenly" and they usually say, "Well yes it is!":);)

He he he...yup, I started wearing it about 4 years ago by fluke. My stepmom always gives me her hand-me-downs, I RARELY buy shit for myself like that. For some reason, perfumes change their scent DRASTICALLY on her. They pretty much smell the same on me as they do in the bottle. So she gave me Heavenly a while back. I've only been through 2 bottles though in 4 years. I don't wear it often, but when I do, I love it.

VS has these new scents, 33 55 66 77 88, or something like that...one is flirty, one is romantic, one is seduction...etc...I wear 55, (I think...)...my ex used to love the smell of fire and ice on me. kinda vanilla-y...I will also wear Eternity every now and then. I just like a little hint of something that makes people want to get closer.;)

I used to love my Cotton Candy perfume! That stuff rocked! But, my roommate got headaches from it and complained all the time, so I had to cut myself off from it. But man did I love smelling cotton candy all day long! Now it's either Cool Water or Candies.

They should make one for women that smells like beer - I'll bet that'd attract a ton of guys!
Curve is pretty good actually.
I smelled a really really good one a few days ago... forget what it was called... some kind of food name like cake or something like that.. it was pretty yummy anyway.

Givenchy Hot Couture. I find this fragrance absolutely irresistible.

I include a brief quote below:

Quote

Floral, woody and fruity, a pleasure potion which subtly combines: The tacking: burning, woody amber vetiver. The material: spicy floral essence of magnolia and pepper. The vital lead: raspberry nectar.

The same perfume smells differently on different women, of course. Pleasant mental an physical connotations are also known to play a role ;).
